There are many if and but for an individual before one takes up freelance career seriously. There are many guys around having strong desire to freelance in a part time or taking it as full time career. but when it comes to execution, people tend to delay it for some or the other reason. Each individual have their own characteristics and give their own opinions or excuses (I think excuse is better word). Though one get fascinated by the thought of working from home (one can avoid getting up early, office dressing, morning traffic, sticky 9-5 – even though you dont have meaningful to do etc. etc.), on the other hand, one get frightened with the idea because it requires entrepreneur mind where life could be full of surprise. you may have to balance yourself between rough and scary period with fun and existing period.
Whatever be, its not good to delay if you really aspire to become freelancer and if you have the quality to become a one (I know you have it).

Huh!!! Big Sum… how much. My dear friend, you are not retiring from your job where you need to accumulate the saving before you dumb your present job to start freelancing. You might be too late before you give up.
- Let me learn more or I will do mistake
In Steve Pavlina words, “Your greatest risk isn’t that you’ll make mistakes that will cost you. Your greatest risk is that you’ll miss opportunities. You need an entrepreneurial mindset, not an employee mindset.”
- I need to be perfect
All human being want to be perfectionist. Some has more while some has this in full which obstruct one to start the work now. For perfectionist, one want to secure few projects first, want to make website or blog ready, branding and logo shound be done perfectly, testimonial should be ready, bunch of projects should be completed to show to your client. So you want to have everything perfect before you start the freelancing. This is not the correct way instead its just a way to delay the thing what you could have done without all these stuff. You can do these thing in parallel, no need to wait for this to be completed before you start freelancing.
- I dont want to take this as full time career. Part time is OK but dont have time…
My dear friend, this excuse is not real. Some wise man has said “If you desire to achive something, the whole universe conspires to help you to realize your dreams”. So if you really want, you can defnitely take out time from your daily routine activities to start freelancing. Its all about “Do you really want” or you just want to dream about it. Remember the person who is doing it also has only 24 hours in their hand just like yours.
- Where to seek venture capital
Let me remind you, this is not a capital intensive business, so you really do not require funding to carry this work. You dont require even a single penny to start with (only basis need a computer and internet connection should be suffice enough).
If you have discovered that this is the field where you should be and you are fit for freelancing career, it will be real fun to work from home. You will have unlimited potential and opportunities to explore and not to forget about the freedom what you are going to get.
